Camcorder: I use a Sony HDR-CX100E and am
happy with this handy cam , it has all the main features including full high
definition recording but does not have a jack for external microphone which
I found out later how handy it is, so if you are
intending to buy one now, then I would recommend something like the HDR-XR350V
model or better.
Video editing software: I mainly
use Sony Vegas Pro 9 which I
highly recommend.
I am also in the process of learning Adobe After Effects CS4
which provides more features for VFX effects.
Green Screen: I use a cheap green screen that I
built myself but that produces decent results as you can see in the YouTube video
below
